Welcome to Appleby Grammar School Council!
The Appleby Grammar School Council is dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment where every student’s voice is heard and valued. We aim to represent the wide range of views of our peers, promote our school values, and collaborate with staff to enhance our school experience. Through leadership, encouragement, and service, we strive to create opportunities for personal growth, encourage student involvement, and contribute to making our school a better place for all.

What we have improved:
- Updated uniform policy: introducing cardigans, re-introduced the “tie-on-tie” and bringing in tailored shorts
- Use the benches in the grass area for KS4
- Improve communication between School Council and students
Future Improvements:
- More inter house competitions/sports
- House Assemblies to take place once a term
