PSHE
The PSHE curriculum at AGS is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to stay healthy and safe, and to be well prepared for life and work. It supports pupils in developing the confidence and capability to navigate life’s challenges, make the most of opportunities, and engage thoughtfully with the diversity of the world around them. Central to this is a commitment to kindness, respect and community, ensuring that students learn to value and understand people of different backgrounds, races, religions, disabilities, sexualities and genders. Our curriculum nurtures key qualities such as resilience, self‑esteem, risk management, teamwork and critical thinking, taught through three core themes: health and wellbeing, relationships, and living in the wider world (including economic wellbeing and aspects of careers education).
